Our cabin is on the Oregon Coast in a beautiful area with walking distance access to extensive hiking, river estuary, and ocean.

 

The cabin can host up to 6 guests & can accommodate 2 cars.

 

Part of Cascade Head Ranch, a low-density environmental development established in the 1970’s. Two doors down from the Sitka Center for Art and Ecology. CHR is located at the mouth of the Salmon River on the Pacific Ocean. The cabin is 5 minutes walking distance from the head of the Cascade Head Hiking Trail. Surrounded by a combo of public land, Nature Conservancy land and land owned by CHR. Remote feeling but close to Lincoln City and Neskowin. June-August there is a heated outdoor pool. We have a canoe and kayak you can use. There is a communal River House (with kitchen, deck, barbecue, gas fireplace).

It is special but not fancy; rustic but very comfortable. The cabin has a small living and dining area, a small kitchen, a bathroom, and an outdoor deck with a propane grill. There is a big bunk room with four beds (2 bunk beds) and an additional small room with an additional two beds (bunk). There is a TV and wifi.

We have a heat pump.

$125 per night per (for 1-2 adults or a family).

 

For groups of 3 adults $175; 4 adults or two families $200; for 5 adults $225; 6 adults $250. Prices negotiable based on your situation and duration of stay.

Pets ok!

Sometimes you'll need to bring your own linens but we can always arrange to provide them as needed. We are not using a cleaning service, so there is no cleaning fee—we do the cleaning ourselves, with your help.

 

Cleaning up before you leave includes wiping down the surfaces with a damp cloth, vacuuming, doing dishes & putting them away. Wiping down the shower and sinks and scrubbing out the toilet. Pretty basic. I’m chemically sensitive and reactive to synthetic stuff: perfumes and fragrances (especially laundry detergents), sunblock chemicals (the mineral-based stuff is no problem), fragranced lotions etc. Thanks in advance for your consideration.

 

Our HOA/CHR community doesn't allow car camping, camping outside the cabin, fireworks, open fire, and that kind of thing.
